Classes

All tuition is given in a friendly class environment with as much one-on-one help as our teachers and tutors can offer. We mainly use the Port Macquarie Library Technology Room, which has 14 good quality computers - loaded with Microsoft Windows - Vista and other programs. Any student is more than welcome to bring along their own laptop to class.

If you are experiencing problems using the booking system, it may be due to the fact that your email system has not been defined. The message which appears will be - Could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not properly installed. This means that your email system has not been defined on your computer. Please click here and follow the instructions.

Computer Workshop
These sessions are unstructured, student centred and emphasize hands-on-learning. At the beginning of each session, the teacher will ask each class members to nominate one computer skill they would like to learn, these will be listed on the white board. Each skill will be demonstrated by the teachers and all members will then practice the skill. For example members may want to know how to save a file to a USB drive, write a letter in MS Word, import a picture from a digital camera etc. The sessions are light on theory and heavy on practice and they will be light hearted and fun. Questions will be encouraged. This is an opportunity to ask that question you couldn't ask before because it was not related to the subject being taught.
