Windows Vista.
On an empty space in your desktop Right Click.
Click Personalize.
Choose and click Background.
Choose a picture from the selection and click O.K.
If you would like to place one of your own photos on the Desktop, do the following
On an empty space in your desktop Right Click.
Click Personalize
Choose and click Background.
Click Browse.
Find the photo in pictures or your photo file and click on it.
Click O.K.
The picture should appear on your desktop.
Windows X.P
On an empty space in your desktop Right Click.
On the Menu which appears Left click on Properties.
Click on the Desktop tab.
Scroll through the list of available pictures or click on the Browse button
and find one of your own pictures or photos in a file on your computer.
Click on the open or O.K. button (whichever appears on your computer)
Click Apply to see the image as a background.
Click O.K.
