: Before you do this be aware that neither Microsoft nor Open Office can retrieve your passwords.
If you forget your password you will not be able to open the file. | Microsoft Office: 2007 Go to File/Save As On the bottom of the Save As window click the arrow next to the word Tools. Click General Options. Here you can fill in the Password and save. Microsoft Office 2003 Go to File/Save As In the top right hand corner of the Save As Window click on the word tools. Click Security Options. Here you can fill in your password. Open Office Go to File/Save As Tick the box opposite the word password. Continue with the saving procedure you will be presented with a box to enter your password
