Q. B. M. Ripping C.D.'s I would like to Rip C.D.'s to my laptop. Could you please explain how this is done. |
A. Peggy: I am assuming you are using Windows Vista and Media Player 11 that being the case if you follow these instructions you should be able to rip and play music to your computer. Place the CD in the DVD/CD Driver drawer. Open Media Player Go to Rip - click the arrow at the bottom of the button /More Options Click the Tab - Rip Music In the Rip Settings/ Format - make sure Windows Media Audio is showing Click Rip CD when inserted. Set the Audio quality to 128kbps Click Apply Click O.K. Click the Rip Button. The music will go into the Library. To play make sure your speakers are turned on, and the volume is on. |

Q.L.P.. I have an external Hard Drive with music on it. How do I get the music from the External Drive (F) and burn to a disc?. |
A. Peggy: This is no different than any other drive. Place your CD into the CD/DVD burner on your computer. A window will appear, choose "Burn to disc". Another window will appear showing all the drives connected to your computer. (The external drive must be connected and switched on) You will now be able to drag and drop the required files to the CD/DVD burner drive (usually "E") When you have finished dragging and dropping click "burn to disc" in the toolbar. Be patient this takes a little while. |
